Tom Wallisch Update.

Tom just fired off an email updating us on his early progress this season. Not even a month in and he already has two 1st palaces notched in his belt…sick. Dude is riding high after just being nominated to compete in Peak Performance’s – King of Style Comp being held this weekend in Stockholm. The PR was even picked up by the uber board centric site TWS Biz , shows he is the one everbody is watching this season because you never see anything about freeski on this site. I have a feeling Tom’s already got his knife out and getting ready to put another notch in that belt.

Not really sure who the dude on the left is??? But he really wanted to be in the pic.

Olsson, who has been with Kombi in Europe for 7 years, will be using Kombi gloves worldwide in 2008/09. He is excited to continue being part of the team. “My Kombi gloves are the one thing I hold onto the longest. I sometimes feel like a pair of gloves gives me good luck, and I hang onto them until they are destroyed, even if I have three new pairs at home.” Olsson comments from the road. “My favourite glove is the Kombi iRip.”

The Swedish superstar spends around 290 days on the road each year, filming and competing in the world’s most prestigious ski events. In 2005 he created the Jon Olsson Invitational which has evolved into the world’s premier newschool skiing event. I feel Kombi has the potential to explode. We have some great riders on our current team not to mention our new team updates coming this fall. I’m stoked to ride, chill, and work with developing new product designs and flavour. Kombi is an amazing brand with really supportive and great people working behind the scenes. My role and our team will bring it the respect and attention it rightfully deserves.
